Vivid Sydney is set to captivate locals and visitors from around the world from 23 May to 14 June 2025 and local businesses are encouraged to be a part of the Southern Hemisphere’s leading multi-artform festival.
The Vivid Sydney Local Business Program is an opportunity to join the festival’s vibrant community and tap into the increased visitation presented by Australia’s largest festival.
Participating businesses can showcase products, services and experiences, illuminate building facades and harbour vessels or enhance their shopfronts with Vivid Sydney assets.

The Local Business Program highlights how businesses can contribute to the local community and boost Sydney’s visitor, night-time and creative economies. Last year, Vivid Sydney welcomed 2.53 million attendees and generated $180.2 million in visitor expenditure, including a record-breaking opening night that drew 142,000 people to the festival footprint. More than 85 per cent of Vivid Sydney attendees also purchased food and/or beverages.
In 2025, the multi-artform festival will once again transform the city into an illuminating kaleidoscope of colour, with a program centred around the theme of 'Vivid Sydney, Dream'. The program will include a mesmerising free public exhibition of outdoor lighting sculptures and 3D projections, cutting-edge contemporary music events, new forms of creative ideas, exchange and interactive engagement via Vivid Ideas, as well as a dedicated Vivid Food program that will be a feast for the senses.
Expressions of interest for the Vivid Sydney Local Business Program can be made here and close on 11 April 2025.
Destination NSW Acting CEO Karen Jones said: “Vivid Sydney goes well beyond being a light show - it has a profound impact on surrounding businesses, with many seeing significant boosts in trading revenue across the 23 nights.
“Joining Vivid Sydney’s Local Business Program is a chance to collaborate with the NSW Government to create unique visitor experiences, enhance our city’s offering and reinforce Sydney’s position as the arts and creative industries capital of the Asia Pacific.”
Vivid Sydney is owned, managed and produced by Destination NSW.
