Destination NSW partnered with Universal Pictures on 8 April 2024 for the world premiere of The Fall Guy.
Guests at the film's premiere included director David Leitch and producer Kelly McCormick (above) and Oscar nominees Keegan-Michael Key and LaKeith Stanfield.
Starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, the movie was filmed in Sydney in 2022-23 and features iconic locations including the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House.
Screen NSW's Made in NSW Fund secured the film for the state, which injected around $145 million into the economy.

Ryan Gosling plays Colt Seavers in The Fall Guy, a stuntman recovering from an almost career-ending accident. He is drafted back into service when the star of a big-budget studio movie being directed by his ex-girlfriend Jody Moreno goes missing. Moreno is played by Golden Globe winner Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer, A Quiet Place films, Sicario).
The Fall Guy was created by real-life former stunt man and director David Leitch, the director of Bullet Train, Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw and the producer of John Wick, Nobody and Violent Night, the action thriller is a love letter to action movies and the crew of people who make them.
The Fall Guy opens in cinemas from 24 April 2024.
